Shrimp Tacos w Mango Pico de Gallo
Mexican Cuisine with a little tropical twist
Equipment
- 1 frying pan
- 1 set of basic kitchen utensils
Ingredients
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 avocado
- 1 mango
- 1/2 chopped red onion
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 serrano pepper, deveined, deseeded and chopped
- 4 limes
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 lb large shrimp
Instructions
- Peel and clean the shrimp.
- Marinate with garlic, Chili flakes, olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Cut the mango in small clubes, mix with the red onion, Serrano, cilantro and the juice of 3 limes and season.
- Heat a skillet with the butter and sear the shrimp.
- In a separate skillet heat up the Tortillas.
- Assemble the tacos with the shrimp, mango pico de gallo and Cilantro on top.
- Serve with avocado and lime on the side and ENJOY 🙂
Notes
A burst of freshness in every bite. Make sure you use some high quality shrimp and don’t over cook them for a maximum eating experience. Pair your tacos with an ice cold beer or some white wine. Just a couple of glasses, ok?Â
